American Pile and Foundation was responsible for the construction of 192 Anchor Piles for the renovation of the Marine Parkway Bridge Fender System. The anchor piles were composed of a combination of mini pile methodologies and DCP anchors to a depth of 125 feet. The project was located in 12 different cofferdams throughout the length of both sides of the Bridge. The use of marine barges carrying a crawler crane and a drill rig was a key part in completing the project. Multiple grout plans were specifically designed in-house for the project and were used in grouting all of the DCP anchors. Over 450 pallets of cement was used at the completion of the project.
